Best Italian food I had in a while. I got the White ragu tajarin, and my husband the Beef and Pork lasagna. Both were delicious. The service was 10/10. Highly recommend and definitely will come back.

Top notch. Outstanding. Relatively small menu featuring pasta and a few second dishes and a few apps, but it is all done incredibly well. Everything seems simple and complex at the same time and has a comforting feel to it. Nice atmosphere and outstanding service. This is one of the best restaurants in Durham.

Cucciolo Osteria is one of Durham's culinary gems that never disappoints. The dishes are always amazing, bursting with flavor and creativity. The restaurant's downtown location near the train tracks adds a nostalgic charm that I absolutely love. The space is cozy and intimate, and they are always busy, so reservations are a must. If you're in Durham, this is a restaurant you simply have to check out!

We didn’t have reservations on a Saturday night but they were able to take us anyway. Lively atmosphere, fantastic food and really, really good service. I had the lasagna and it was incredible. My kids had the butter chicken and the linguine carbonara. We were all impressed with our choices. Great list of cocktails. Desserts that hit the spot. The winner of our desserts was the chocolate mousse with hazelnuts inside a a baked pastry horn.

What a fun little restaurant. Nice atmosphere, kind of hidden in the building. Bruschette was amazing, maybe the best I've had. Blue cheese Alfredo was spot on. Service was very good and they were really busy so make a rez. I would go back again.

Cucciolo Osteria is an intimate Italian restaurant on Main Street. It has an upscale, traditional Italian menu with multiple courses/smaller portions. The meal is paced slowly so patrons take time to savor the food and enjoy their dining companions. It is an extremely popular place so I recommend making a reservation. It is the BEST Italian food in the area by far! I am in LOVE with their Pomodoro Tagliatelle and Butter Chicken and keep going back! SO GOOD! I HIGHLY recommend Cucciolo Osteria!!!

My husband said after dinner at Cucciolo Osteria Durham: “please do a review about this because it was really, really good.” The vongole linguini and fish dishes were both great. The wine was all delightful. The meat eaters loved the carpaccio. And not pictured here were well-loved bruschetta, blue cheese pasta, and bread pudding dishes. The atmosphere was lovely and the whole team was kind, friendly, and efficient!

This place is a beautiful date night restaurant in Durham. Definitely make reservations because it is a pretty small restaurant with a limited number of tables so if you don't have reservations you may be at the bar. Reservations also require a card to hold. It is dimly lit and in a great area that you can walk around and hit some bars or dessert spots after. Both the hostess and our server were nice and inviting too. The food is fairly priced, however the portions are small. We got the white ragu tajarin and truffle tajarin pasta. The flavors in both sauces were incredible. 10/10 for both sauces! I just really think the spaghetti noodles it was served in didn't do the pasta justice. The sauce wasn't sticking to the noodles like it should've and this kind of flavor profile needed thicker noodles like pappardelle and it would've been a perfect dish. We also got some drinks and they were great, especially the espresso martini. The menu is small so we only got pasta because we didn't agree on anything else and we ended up still being hungry afterwards.

Absolutely fantastic experience! Service was wonderful and food was exquisite! Prosciutto fig bruchetta was a delight. And main courses of white ragu and carbonara 10/10 would get again!

Sometimes hard to get a reservation so definitely plan ahead! The service, ambiance, and food were great. Love the bruschetta options and can't go wrong with their truffle pasta!
